QVT Technology is a software development studio based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We operate this website (qvt.co.nz) and are the "agency" responsible for personal information collected through it under the Privacy Act 2020.

• Contact form: your name, email, company (optional), project type and message — only what you choose to send us.
• Privacy requests: the details you submit through the form on this page.
• Analytics (with your consent): anonymised usage data via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. GA4 sets cookies only after you accept in the consent banner.
• Server logs: standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, timestamp) retained short-term for security and troubleshooting.

• To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics, consent-based).
• To protect the site from abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. GA4 only loads after you click "Accept" in the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser — the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.

• Resend — delivers contact and privacy-request emails to our team.
• Cloudflare / Lovable Cloud — hosting and content delivery.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Some may process data outside New Zealand.

• Contact enquiries: kept while the conversation is active and for up to 2 years after.
• Privacy requests: kept for at least 2 years as a record of the request and our response.
• Analytics: retained per GA4's default settings (currently 14 months).

Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information we hold about you.
• Provide a copy of that information.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete information we no longer need.
