The team

QVT combines full-stack engineering, cloud and self-hosted infrastructure, applied AI and end-to-end product design in a single team. Between us we cover everything a founder needs to take a product from an idea to something real people use — web and mobile builds, the infrastructure that runs them, the AI features on top, and the design that ties it all together.

We've built for startups long enough to know what to skip. The things that matter early — moving fast, validating with real users, keeping the surface small — are the things we optimise for. The things that matter later — scaling, hardening, hiring around the codebase — we set up so you don't have to unpick them when you get there.

How QVT started

QVT started because the shape of team an early-stage founder actually needs — one small group that can move across the whole build — is exactly what the market is structured against. Agencies price for a full team of specialists you don't need yet. Freelancers cover one discipline at a time and leave you coordinating the seams. Neither fits a startup at the stage where the product is still finding shape.

We built QVT to be the middle option: an in-house team you can rent, that behaves like the technical co-founders and design partner you'd hire if you could.

How we work

Everything is built in-house — the person you talk to is the person writing the code. There are no account managers, no offshore hand-offs, no game of telephone. Communication happens directly with the people building, which is the only way the speed we promise actually works.
